Azurion 7 m20

Official notice

Medium riskHealth Canada

An official Health Canada notice concerns Azurion 7 m20. Philips has identified that grease leaked from the bearings and/or anti-corrosion oil applied on the bearings can result in excessive lubrication on the ceiling rail. This can reduce the friction between the friction wheel and the rails. The reduced traction force causes the friction wheel to slip on the rail, leading to a "position slip" error mode being detected by the software. When this error occurs, the x-y-rz joystick is unable to send motorized requests to the relevant axes. Due to this issue, the motorized longitudinal movement of the Flexarm stand may be inconsistent (not smooth) and eventually may become unavailable. Recall start date: August 7, 2024 Published 2024-08-26.
