An official Health Canada notice concerns Prevost. Issue: On a small number of buses, the engine stop button located in the engine compartment may not work. As a result, the engine may not stop when a mechanic pushes the engine stop button while performing repair work. Safety Risk: An engine that doesn't stop when requested could increase the risk of injury during a repair. Corrective Actions: Prevost will notify owners by mail and provide with instructions for how to have the vehicle software updated to correct this problem. Published 2023-09-21.
