An official Health Canada notice concerns Prevost. Issue: On certain vehicles, a problem could cause the coolant heater to overheat and generate excessive exhaust gas. Safety Risk: A coolant heater that overheats can create the risk of a fire. Excessive exhaust gas could increase the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. Additionally, a fire could result in passengers being evacuated in an uncontrolled environment, which may create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Prevost will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a Prevost service center to inspect the coolant heater, adjust it and replace any damaged components, if necessary.
