Medium riskHealth Canada

An official Health Canada notice concerns Isuzu. On certain vehicles, a burr could impede contact between the transmission mounting bracket and the chassis cross member. This could cause the fasteners to shear or break, allowing the transmission to move out of position and impair or prevent shifting, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the bolted connection and install a shim if necessary. Published 2017-04-12.
