An official Health Canada notice concerns Isuzu. Issue: On certain trucks, the antilock braking system (ABS) module and, if equipped, the optional advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) camera may not have been recalibrated after a modification to extend the truck frame. As a result, some vehicle safety systems may not work properly. This can include the automatic emergency braking system (AEBS), adaptative cruise control (ACC) and electronic stability control (ESC). Note: This recall only affects trucks with a 200" or 212" wheelbase. Safety Risk: Vehicle safety systems that do not work correctly could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Isuzu will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their truck to a dealership to recalibrate the ABS module and, if equipped, the ADAS camera. Published 2023-02-06.
