An official Health Canada notice concerns Bombardier recreational products. On certain side-by-side vehicles, lower splines at the steering column to rack and pinion joint may not be sufficiently engaged. The splines could fail causing a loss of steering. This could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect spline engagement and replace the steering wheel shaft or steering column if necessary.
