An official Health Canada notice concerns Bombardier recreational products. Issue: On certain vehicles, a problem with the brake light switch could cause the brake lamps to stay on after you release the brakes. Safety Risk: Brake lamps that stay on when the vehicle isn't braking could cause confusion for other drivers and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: BRP will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to add a spring to the brake light switch. On certain models, the dealer will also replace and/or adjust the brake light switch. Published 2024-04-26.
