Medium riskHealth Canada

An official Health Canada notice concerns Bombardier recreational products. Certain vehicles may fail to comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 108 - Lighting System and Retroreflective Devices. The vehicles may have been equipped with headlights which contain an improperly manufactured reflector. This would cause light output values to be higher than allowable in some areas, potentially blinding oncoming traffic. This could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: dealers will replace the reflectors. Published 2022-05-19.
