Medium riskHealth Canada

An official Health Canada notice concerns Bombardier recreational products. On certain Can-Am Spyder RT Series roadsters, the pin securing the brake pedal connecting rod could disengage and fall off. This would result in a complete loss of braking ability without any prior warning. The loss of brake function, in conjunction with traffic and road conditions, and the driver's reactions, could increase the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the brake pedal connector rod pin. Published 2022-05-19.
