An official Health Canada notice concerns Bombardier recreational products. Issue: This recall is for fuel pumps installed on certain vehicles or sold at BRP dealerships as a replacement part for 2019 to 2024 models. This recall affects the following fuel pump part numbers: 709 000 810 548 874 036 709 001 261 219 800 529 On certain vehicles, the fuel pump could fail. If this happens, the engine could stall while driving and you may not be able to restart it. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: BRP will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the fuel pump. Published 2023-12-22.
