An official NHTSA notice concerns General Motors - Damaged parking brake wiring harness. Unintended activation of the parking brake while driving increases the risk of a crash. What to do now
Dealers will inspect the harness and, if necessary, reroute the harness and install anti-abrasive tape. Any harness that has existing damage will be replaced. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on october 1, 2025. Owners may contact chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020.
