An official Health Canada notice concerns Utilimaster - Spartan. Certain vehicles may fail to conform to Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 210 – Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages. The thickness of the passenger seat belt anchorage mounting bracket may not be adequate. As a result, the seat belt assembly could separate from the mounting bracket during a crash, which could increase the risk of injury and would fail to meet the anchorage strength requirements of the standard. Correction: Spartan Service Centers will install a reinforcement bracket to the passenger seat belt anchorage. Published 2017-11-09.

The hazard
