An official Health Canada notice concerns Rosenbauer. On certain fire trucks, contaminants could pass through the brake pedal base plate causing corrosion on the brake pedal piston. This could result in brakes sticking, brake drag, or otherwise impair brake function, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the brake pedal assembly, add a solid spacer plate and sealant to prevent future contamination. Published 2016-04-07.

The hazard
