An official Health Canada notice concerns Kme fire apparatus. On certain vehicles, water may leak into the ladder position sensor and could cause the sensor to malfunction. This could allow for the ladder to make contact with the vehicle or be placed off of the short jack side of the truck, which could increase the risk injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the ladder position sensor mount and bearing system, and replace as necessary. Published 2017-02-03.
