An official Health Canada notice concerns Hyundai. On certain vehicles, the front brake calipers may have been manufactured incorrectly and could fracture. This would result in a reduction in braking effectiveness and an increase in braking distances, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the front brake calipers. Note: All affected vehicles have been captured at the dealers for the corrective action to be performed before being sold to customers. Published 2014-07-08.
