As a result, the seat belt(s) could detach in a crash. Note: for the 2026 model year santa fe, this recall only affects the santa fe hybrid (hev) model. Safety risk: a seat belt that detaches in a crash could increase the risk of injury. Corrective actions: the company will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and reinforce the lower seat belt anchors.
