What to do now
Owners are advised not to ride their motorcycles until they are repaired. Dealers will reprogram the ecu, free of charge. Motorcycles that were previously repaired under recall 20v-813 will need to return for the new remedy. Owner notification letters were mailed november 30, 2021. Owners may contact yamaha customer service at 1-800-962-7926. Yamaha's number for this recall is 990152.
