An official NHTSA notice concerns Winnebago - Screw may damage seat belt retractor. A damaged retractor may perform improperly, preventing the seat belt from securing the occupant and increasing the risk of injury during a crash. Published 2024-10-03.
What to do now
Dealers will inspect driver and passenger retractors and either adjust the placement or replace the screw as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed november 6, 2024. Owners may call winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-3535. Winnebago's number for this recall is 190.
