An official NHTSA notice concerns Tesla - Parking brake valve module may cause rollaway. A parking brake that is not engaged as expected when the driver releases the brakes may allow the vehicle to rollaway, increasing the risk of crash. Published 2023-03-24.
What to do now
Tesla service will replace the pvm, free of charge. All affected vehicles were repaired by april 10, 2023. Owners may contact tesla customer service at 1-877-798-3752. Tesla's number for this recall is sb-23-33-001.
