An official NHTSA notice concerns Terex South Dakota - Cracks in the plate welds of the lower boom pivot. Failure of the plates will cause unexpected motion of the boom and could cause the platform to fall, resulting in serious injury or death to a person standing on the platform. Published 2010-01-29.
