An official CPSC notice concerns Can-Am® Commander side-by-side off-road vehicles. Improper assembly of the steering column to the rack and pinion can result in the loss of steering control, posing a risk of serious injury or death to the user, passenger or bystanders. Published 2015-01-26.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled vehicles and contact a BRP dealer to schedule a free repair. BRP has notified registered consumers directly about this recall.
