An official Health Canada notice concerns Wash waste cartridge for rapidpoint® 500 and rapidpoint® 500e. Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics has confirmed, through complaint investigation, that some RAPIDPoint® 500 Systems wash/waste cartridges from lot WW/08925 may contain an incorrect wash pack. This issue may affect the test results of the following measured analytes: ionized calcium, potassium, pH, chloride, pCO2, glucose and lactate. Recall start date: July 2, 2025 Published 2025-07-16.
