An official Health Canada notice concerns Ski-doo - Bombardier recreational products. Issue: On certain snowmobiles, the left ski may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the ski could break, and you could lose control of the snowmobile. Note: This recall only affects snowmobiles equipped with Pilot X skis. Safety Risk: A loss of control can create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: BRP will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your snowmobile to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the left ski. To reduce the safety risk, BRP advises not to use your snowmobile until the recall repairs have been completed. Published 2024-02-02.
