Medium riskHealth Canada

An official Health Canada notice concerns Roadtrek. On some motorhomes built on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter cutaway chassis, brake line routing may have been affected by the installation of heater hoses. This could allow a brake line to come into contact with the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) tube, causing abrasion damage which could result in a brake fluid leak. This could increase stopping distances, possibly resulting in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, relocate the brake line.
