An official Health Canada notice concerns Roadtrek. On certain units, the aluminum rivets used to secure the side awning brackets to the motorhome could fail, causing the awning brackets and awning to separate from the motorhome and strike another vehicle, a stationary object, or a bystander. This could cause property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will remove the awning and reinstall using stronger stainless steel rivets. Published 2012-08-29.
