An official Health Canada notice concerns Nova bus. Issue: Under certain conditions, the electric power steering motor could shut down. As a result, pressure from the power steering pump could return and cause the steering wheel to move suddenly. Note: This recall only affects buses equipped with an electric power steering system. Safety Risk: A steering wheel that moves suddenly could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Nova Bus will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to install a check valve at the power steering pump inlet. Published 2025-07-25.
