An official Health Canada notice concerns Nova bus. Issue: Under certain conditions, road debris could build up on the fuse holder for the electric cooling fans. If this happens, the fuse holder could short circuit and overheat. Safety Risk: An overheated fuse holder could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Nova Bus will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development. Nova Bus recommends an inspection for debris accumulation in the fuse holder area and cleaning as required. Also, Nova Bus recommends that you should inspect the fuse holder for heat damage (melting) before driving and to shut off the manual power disconnect switch when the vehicle is parked.
