An official Health Canada notice concerns Lincoln - Ford. Certain vehicles may not comply with Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 205 - Glazing Materials. Air may have been trapped in the windshield during manufacturing. Over time, this could cause the appearance of defects within the windshield, such as air bubbles, contrary to the requirements of the standard. These defects would reduce driver visibility through the windshield, and could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property.
