An official Health Canada notice concerns Ford. Issue: on certain vehicles, the recall repairs completed by a ford dealer during recall 19c03 (transport canada recall no. 2019-064) may not have been done correctly. As a result, a second repair is required. On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the instrument panel cluster screen not to display when the vehicle is started. As a result, you may not be able to see certain information about the vehicle, including the gear selection, speedometer, warning lights and malfunction tell-tales. Safety risk: warnings, gauges, gear selection and tell-tales indicators that don't display could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the instrument panel cluster software. Published 2026-06-26.
