An official Health Canada notice concerns Jeep - Fiat chrysler automobiles. Issue: On certain vehicles, the third-row seat belt buckles may not be accessible or may have been damaged during production. As a result, a passenger may not be able to buckle the seat belt. Safety Risk: Not wearing a seat belt can increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: FCA will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the third-row seat belt buckle(s). Published 2023-11-01.
