An official Health Canada notice concerns Jeep - Fiat chrysler automobiles. Issue: on certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the antilock braking system (abs) and electronic stability control (esc) system not to work correctly. Safety risk: antilock braking and electronic stability control systems that don't work correctly could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: FCA canada will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the brake system control module software. Published 2026-04-16.
