An official Health Canada notice concerns Jeep - Fiat chrysler automobiles. Issue: on certain vehicles, a software problem in the occupant restraint controller could cause the door airbag pressure sensor(s) not to work properly. As a result, the side airbag(s) may not work properly in a crash. Note: this recall affects 2022-2025 grand cherokee and 2023-2025 grand cherokee l models. Safety risk: airbags that don't work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective actions: FCA canada will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the occupant restraint controller software. Published 2026-06-03.
