An official Health Canada notice concerns Ford. Issue: on one vehicle, the recall repairs completed by a ford dealer during recall 25s68 (transport canada recall no. 2025-329) may not have been done correctly. As a result, another repair is required. On certain vehicles, the rearview camera image will not display when the transmission is shifted into reverse gear. Note: this recall only affects certain transit chassis cab and incomplete vehicles not equipped with the sync system. Safety risk: a rearview camera image that doesn't display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: ford will notify the owner by mail and advise them to take their vehicle to a dealership to update the audio control module configuration settings. Published 2026-01-15.
