An official Health Canada notice concerns Ford. On certain vehicles, the second row 60% seat (with a manual recliner mechanism) may have components that are out of dimensional specifications and thereby may not comply with the seatback strength requirements of the Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standards 207 - Anchorage of Seats. In the event of a crash, the seatback may not provide the required strength, increasing the risk of injury to the seat occupant. Correction: Dealers will replace the manual recliner mechanism.
