An official Health Canada notice concerns Dutchmen - Keystone. Issue: On a small number of RV trailers, the screws that attach the patio latch could become loose. As a result, the patio latch could detach and fall from the trailer. Safety Risk: A patio that drops suddenly from the trailer could create a risk of injury. A patio latch that falls from a moving vehicle could create road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: None of the affected trailers have been delivered to customers. Keystone will instruct dealers to replace the patio latch screws with bolts and locking nuts before the trailers are delivered. Published 2025-05-01.
