An official Health Canada notice concerns Audi - Volkswagen. Issue: on certain vehicles, there may be a problem with the driver and/or front passenger seat belt pretensioners. As a result, the seat belt pretensioners may not work properly in a crash. Note: this recall affects both sportback and suv models. Safety risk: a seat belt pretensioner that doesn't work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective actions: audi will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the driver and/or front passenger seat belts, as necessary. Published 2026-04-28.
