An official NHTSA notice concerns Porsche - Insufficient sealant on high-voltage battery. Liquid accumulation in the high voltage battery can cause electrical arcing, increasing the risk of a fire. Published 2023-09-01.
What to do now
Dealers will test the battery for leakage and replace the battery as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed october 31, 2023. Owners may contact porsche's customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is apb2.
