An official NHTSA notice concerns Ducati North - Center stand screws. Any displacement of the center stand could adversely affect the driver's ability to control the motorcycle increasing the risk of a crash. Published 2010-08-02.
What to do now
Dealer will remove the center stand screws apply thread-locking compound and reinstall the screws to the specified torque. This service will be performed free of charge. The safety recall began on august 13, 2010. Owners may contact ducati at 1-800-231-6696.
