There is a risk that the backboard could separate from the supporting pole, and potentially cause an injury.This is related to a possible quality issue, on some units, with the weld connecting the backboard to the supporting pole.While no injuries have been reported, Russell Australia has decided to do precautionary recall in Australia/NZ.
