An official Product Safety NZ notice concerns Shimano PRO VIBE Bicycle Stem for Road Racing. The affected stem seems to be prone to stress corrosion and may crack overtime. This is particularly the case in humid conditions.If the stem breaks while riding, the rider may lose control over the bicycle, fall, posing a risk of injury to the user in a crash.
