What to do now
Do not use the ladder. Return your ladder to the place of purchase to arrange for it to be sent away for replacement hinges to be fitted free of charge. You will be notified when your ladder is ready to be collected – this should take between 7 and 10 days. Ladders purchased after the 23rd August 2013 have the new hinges and are suitable for use.
