An official Product Safety NZ notice concerns Mako Table Saw 250mm. If the mounting brackets on the dust collection break and it comes into contact with the saw blade there is a risk that broken parts will be ejected from the machine at high speed. Ejected parts could injure you or bystanders. Published 2016-02-10.
What to do now
Stop using your Mako Table Saw – switch it off at the wall, unplug it and ensure the blade is fully lowered. Return it to The Warehouse for a full refund. Unfortunately no alternate product is available.
