An official Product Safety NZ notice concerns Le Toy Van - Petilou Sensory Shapes. Two of the blocks included as part of the product (red and blue) may not comply with the mandatory safety standards for toys for children up to and including 36 months of age - Blocks may come apart during use. If this occurs small parts can be released. Small parts can present a choking or inhalation hazard to children under the age of 3 years of age. Published 2017-08-22.
What to do now
If you have purchased the toy, you should stop using the 2 blocks in question and return them to the place of purchase for replacement blocks. Voodle can return paid envelopes to return the 2 blocks for a replacement.
