An official Product Safety NZ notice concerns Hutchwilco - Fisher Vest inflatable lifejacket. The bladder inflation may not inflate the lifejacket properly if it has not been packed as per instructions. The partial inflation will still afford the wearer some buoyancy but it may not be enough and could lead to possible submersion or drowning. The issue can also damage the jacket.
