An official Product Safety NZ notice concerns Honeywell - Air Purifying Respirator (APR) Combination cartridges for half face and full face respirators. Possible exposure to potentially harmful particulates.Honeywell has determined that some of these cartridges do not meet Honeywell’s high quality standards and also may not meet applicable regulatory standards.The issue means some end users may not be afforded the expected and required level of protection from the cartridges and thus could be exposed to potentially harmful particulates. Honeywell is not aware of any safety incidents related these previously produced cartridges. Published 2021-12-13.
