An official Product Safety NZ notice concerns 3M SecureFit™ Safety Glasses. Potential eye injury. Glasses may not provide impact resistance due to sporadic temple (arm) breakage issues. Published 2015-03-24.
What to do now
Immediately cease use and return to place of purchase for replacement or full refund. Check eyewear packaging (plastic bag) for the affected Lot number (14192), which is located on the bottom right corner of the packaging label, below the barcode. If your product: - Has Lot number 14192, or - If the lot number cannot be identified, and product was purchased after 15 August 2014.
