An official Health Canada notice concerns Zero motorcycles. On certain motorcycles, the software of the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) which controls the Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) may be incorrect. If a braking event were to trigger the ABS, the motorcycle may not brake as intended, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will either reprogram the HCU with the correct software or replace it. Published 2017-03-14.
