An official Health Canada notice concerns Yamaha. On certain motorcycles, the positive battery lead may be pinched between the seat bottom and seat bracket. This could result in an electrical short, potentially resulting in a fire which could cause injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install a revised seat bracket and positive battery lead. Published 2017-01-10.
