Medium riskHealth Canada

An official Health Canada notice concerns Yamaha. On certain motorcycles, the clutch push lever oil seal may crack due to an incorrect assembly process. If that were to happen, engine oil could leak out, and could come into contact with the rear tire, potentially causing a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the clutch push lever oil seal with a new seal. Published 2016-11-03.
