An official Health Canada notice concerns Volvo trucks. Issue: on certain trucks, the instrument cluster could go blank while driving. As a result, you may not be able to see certain information about the truck, including the speedometer, fuel gauge, warning lights and malfunction tell-tales. Safety risk: warnings, tell-tales and gauges that don't display could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: volvo trucks will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to replace the instrument cluster. Published 2026-04-02.
